- The movie runs asynchronously. Is the player defective?

If this problem occurs with burned CDs, please check the bit rate and the speed you’ve used (ref. question 1). If it happens with original DVDs look for scratches or dirt on the medium. Probably it’s because of this. If this all is not the case, please contact our Support. The player might be defective.
- I get sound but no screen. Is the player defective?

Check if the player is correctly connected with your TV and recheck all the cables. If you’re not sure the cables work properly, change them. Press the PAL/NTSC key on your remote control. If you still don’t get a screen, please get in touch with our Support.
- Will Kodak CDs be replayed?

Yes, the Kodak Photo CD is recognised with and without Smart Navi. The pictures can be zoomed and set on “pause” at will. The player can only replay JPEGs, CDs with PCD photo format won’t be read.
- Will burned CDs be replayed, and if yes, what formats?

We tested formats CD-R(W), DVD-R(RW), DVD+R(W), which was replayed by the player. However, due to the multitude of writers, blanks, software and options to burn, we cannot give any guarantees, that all burned DVDs will be read.
- My player doesn’t replay burned CDs. What’s the reason for this?

Check closely how you burned or encoded the formats. It’s important that the video bit rate for VCDs is approx. 1400 and for SVCDs is 2400. Don’t burn faster than 8 times, for SVCDs we recommend the slowest speed possible, otherwise you might experience synchronisation problems.
